Lapa Lange Game Lodge

Lapa Lange Game Lodge is located in South Central Namibia, on the edge of the Kalahari, a great stop over on-route your Namibian journey to or from Kgalagadhi, Okonjima, Etosha, Swakopmund or the Skeleton Coast.  Accommodation includes water view chalets, en-suite rooms and luxury villas with breakfast included.  Tented accommodation and campsite facilities are also available. Rolling Green grass and the thatched roof buildings canvas a luxury oasis feel in the midst of the Kalahari semi-desert environment.  The reserve is home to over 30 species of small and large animals.  There are no predators on the reserve.

Lapa Lange Game Lodge restaurant offers uniquely Namibian country style cuisine on buffet and can also serve a la carte meals when required.

The Boma offers a traditional BBQ experience around blazing fires under the African skies for groups of 10+. Groups can enquire for the San-people Bushmen add a very special Kalahari experience to the mix.

Owner, Piet de Lange is passionate about hosting barbeques, serving traditional potjiekos and loves introducing visitors to the braai experience. According to the De Langes their whole philosophy in the operation of Lapa Lange is based on the principle of Namibian “Gemutlichkeit”. This offers a special treat to tourists unfamiliar with this well loved Namibian kuier en braai experience.

Visitors to Lapa Lange Game Lodge can experience the Kalahari on a wide range of activities that include self-guided walks in the reserve, unique species Game Drives, the informative Bushman Walk and our beloved special Cheetah Encounter.  “Lapa Lange Game Lodge is nature friendly and it is our aim to bring people closer to nature and its wild life,” says Mr. de Lange.

Our curio shop is stocked with some Namibian treasures including hand-made items produced by Nama and San people.
