Las Tortugas Villa
Las Tortugas Villa is set on almost an acre of hillside above Paradise Beach, on the Grenadine island of Carriacou. The infinity pool sits on the upper deck, its edge appearing to run straight into the sea below, with the Southern Grenadines strung along the horizon beyond. It sleeps six across three bedrooms: two air-conditioned master rooms with ensuite bathrooms, and a mezzanine loft kept for children, with a double bed tucked under the roofline. A recreation room on the lower level holds a billiard table and board games, and opens onto the path down to the beach. The veranda runs the full width of the house, framed by three arched doorways, and is where meals and sundowners happen. You can watch fishing skiffs head out at dawn and yachts arrive at Sandy Island by mid-morning. A paved path leads down to Paradise Beach itself, a mile of white sand, and on to ConchCasa, the villa's own boathouse, three minutes on foot and twenty feet from the water, stocked with a beer fridge, a hammock, and a rowboat. Godfrey and Leslieann run the place daily, cooking, cleaning, and arranging boat trips to Sandy Island or dive outings with operators nearby. A 4WD comes with every stay. It is a quiet corner of the Grenadines, and the villa rarely shares its stretch of beach with anyone else.
