The sea is close enough to hear from the terrace. LaSpa Laulasmaa sits between pine forest and a sandy stretch of Estonia's coast, and the pairing shapes everything about a stay here: sauna heat and cold sea air, treatment rooms and forest paths. The hotel holds 142 rooms, including seaside rooms, family rooms and a beach house currently being renovated. A water and sauna centre covers 1,700 square feet, and the wellness spa Naudi LaSpa occupies the second floor, working with Cinq Mondes and Swissline products and treatments. You can rent bicycles, electric fatbikes or golf clubs from reception, or walk the marked trail that loops the Lohusalu peninsula and passes the Arvo Pärt Centre, a 1.5-kilometre walk away. Three restaurants cover the range: Käbi for breakfast, Liiv for grilled and wood-fired dishes on the terrace, and Wicca, a fine-dining room led by chef Angelica Udeküll and recommended by the MICHELIN Guide Estonia. In summer, live music plays on the Liiv terrace most evenings. Golf is a short drive away at Niitvälja. It is not a large resort, but it is a complete one, built around the plain fact of pine forest on one side and open sea on the other.
