Le Louise Hotel Brussels - MGallery

Stepping off Avenue Louise into a courtyard garden, arrival at this MGallery address trades traffic noise for clipped hedges within a few strides. The hotel sits in Brussels' fashion district, a ten-minute walk from Grand Place and about fifteen from the European quarter; Louise metro station is under three minutes on foot. Rooms run from a 24 m² Superior with city views to the 92 m² Suite Le Louise, which looks over both garden and avenue. Several suites carry a local theme: one traces the life of writer Marguerite Yourcenar, another belongs to Audrey Hepburn, a third to cartoonist Peyo. All rooms carry a Nespresso machine, a kettle with tea, and a minibar stocked with water. Maison Louise, the hotel's restaurant, runs a Franco-Belgian brasserie menu from chef Adwin Fontein, built on produce from named local suppliers including cheesemaker Julien Hazard. Its bar mixes Belgian gin with herbs cut from the Jardin Suspendu, served in a watering can as the house Garden Smash. The garden itself covers 400 m², a quiet clearing behind the façade used for terrace dining, tea service and summer cocktails. A 24-hour gym occupies the first floor.
