Le Pristine Wellness and Healing Hotel
Le Pristine is a hotel set in the highlands outside Nyeri, on the Gamerock Seremwai road off the Nyeri-Kiganjo route, with Mount Kenya visible from its gardens on a clear day. The property is built around two room types. Nyoni Cabins run 21 square metres, each with a double or twin bed, a reading desk and a balcony onto a private garden. Gisiga Suites are larger at 33 square metres, with a kitchenette, fireplace, mini lounge and a private lawn or garden off the balcony. Mornings begin with a guided walk of five to eight kilometres through the surrounding forest and arboretum, followed by stretching on the lawn and a cup of kibuyu, a herbal tonic made from local plants. The kitchen works farm-to-table, drawing on organic produce grown nearby and leaning on Ayurvedic principles for its menus. Guided excursions run further afield: birding trips toward Aberdare National Park and the Lolldaiga Conservancy, game drives into Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and hikes to the Mau Mau Caves and to Karuru Falls. A steam bath and massage therapies are available on site. Staff accommodation, called Le Petit Chambres, houses drivers and nannies travelling with guests. The hotel also runs an annual guided trek to Point Lenana, Mount Kenya's third peak, open to guests since 2026.
