Le Tropique Villa

Grand Anse beach is a minute's walk from the door, its pale sand running along Praslin's western coast. Le Tropique Villa is a small Creole-style property in Amitié, split between two villa types set among garden greenery. The Garden Villa keeps a modest plot for shade and quiet. The Sea View Villa looks out from its balcony over the water, a wide, unbroken line to the horizon. Both are fitted with a full kitchen, so guests can cook rather than rely on the on-request breakfast. You can borrow a paddle boat or stretch out on a beach bed just past the garden gate. Thérèse Morel, born on Praslin, has run the villa since 1988, after years with a Seychelles tour operator and the island's tourism office; she still fields guest questions directly. It is a small, family-run stay rather than a resort, built for guests who want the beach at hand and little else arranged for them.
