Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson

Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson is a resort built around a single conceit: its overwater villas, 522 of them, are arranged to form the outline of a hibiscus flower when seen from above. A further 117 rooms sit in the tower block, known as the Main Building. The villas fan out from a central point staff call the stigma, where the largest suites sit, to the outer petals near the beach. Every villa carries its own plunge pool and steam room, and several models add a glass panel set into the floor for watching the marine life below the boardwalk. The Panorama and Premium villas run floor-to-ceiling glass to the balcony, pulling the waterfront into the room. The Presidential Suite occupies 382 m² at the tip of the flower's stigma, a four-bedroom duplex with its own kitchenette and bar. At the opposite end of the scale, standard tower rooms keep things simpler and closer to the lobby. Guests move between villas and the Main Building by a 24-hour buggy service, useful given the scale of the grounds. Dining runs from the all-day Roselle Coffee House to Satellite Restaurant & Bar, set on the 13th floor of the tower with a view over the Straits of Malacca. Check-in runs from 3pm.
