Khwai Village Visit (additional cost)

This excursion takes guests from Little Sable into the neighbouring settlement of Khwai, next to the private reserve. A local guide explains the role of the Kgotla, the village's traditional meeting place, along with its customs and past. Guests can call in at the pre-primary school to meet teachers and pupils, watch women weaving baskets by hand, and sit with a local healer who talks through traditional remedies and beliefs, with a further consultation available at extra cost. The visit is arranged only once guests have arrived at camp, and modest dress is required when entering the Kgotla.
