Game Drives

Game drives at Londolozi cover more than 15,000 hectares of unfenced traversing, so routes and sightings differ every outing. A tracker rides at the front of the open Land Rover, reading fresh spoor, while the ranger steers off-road through riverbeds and dense bush to close in on animals. Two of the country's seventeen master trackers work among the guiding team, and collectively the rangers and trackers bring some 350 years of combined experience. Many grew up in the surrounding region, giving them close familiarity with its terrain, animal behaviour, and seasonal patterns. Drives run at dawn and dusk, when wildlife is most active.
