Los Altos De Eros Boutique Hotel & Spa
Seven rooms cut into a Guanacaste hillside above the Pacific
Teak lounge chairs face the jungle canopy from private terraces, and from the pool deck the land drops toward the Pacific. Los Altos de Eros is a seven-room hotel built into a hillside above Guanacaste, with one detached two-bedroom casita set further down the slope. It is an adults-only property, open to guests eighteen and over. Rooms are compact rather than sprawling: the Eros Suite has a king bed, a roman bathtub, and a balcony facing both jungle and ocean; the two Poolside King and two Poolside Queen rooms sit steps from the infinity pool, each with an indoor-outdoor shower. Villa Blanca, the newest addition, adds a plunge pool and its own entrance, sleeping up to four on a king bed and a pull-out sofa. Casa Bella, the two-bedroom casita, has a wrap-around porch and a full kitchenette, reached by a shuttle on request. The spa sits above the water and runs treatments alongside yoga and a small wellness programme; an infrared sauna and fitness room round out the amenities. Breakfast is included daily, and guests staying three nights or more get free transport to Tamarindo and Avellanas beaches. The property spans 22 acres of mountain land, fifteen minutes by road from Tamarindo and an hour from Liberia's airport. It suits couples and small groups over families, and the whole hotel can be booked as a single takeover for retreats or weddings.
