Set twenty-five metres from the lagoon, the beachfront bungalows at Madakitecamp put guests close enough to the water to rig a kite from the terrace. The camp holds ten bungalows in three tiers: three beachfront, steps from the sand; five sea-view, perched on the dune above with a clear line down to the kite spot; and two set back toward the Filao forest, each with its own closed courtyard. Rooms run 25 to 30 square metres, with Italian mattresses, mosquito nets, a safe and separate WC. Wi-Fi runs on Starlink throughout, fast enough for remote work from the terrace sofa or the beach lounge. The restaurant sits directly opposite the launch zone, so you can watch riders work the bay over a plate of grilled zebu or the day's catch. An IKO-affiliated kitesurf school has operated here since 2012, alongside wing foil and windsurf rental and lessons, with equipment stored on-site free of charge. The bay itself does the rest: trade winds hold from March to December, and water depth at high tide suits wing foiling as well as kite. Built in 2020, the property runs on solar power, with continuous electricity and hot water. A two-cabin massage salon uses oils made in Madagascar.
