Medina Belisaire & Thalasso is a low-rise hotel in Yasmine Hammamet, set back from a private stretch of beach by a matter of steps. Gardens run wide around the building, screening three outdoor pools and a sun terrace fitted with loungers and parasols. Inside, 276 rooms and 12 suites climb three floors, served by two lifts, most looking over the pool or the garden. Suites run to 40 square metres, each with a private balcony facing the sea and a bathroom fitted with a jacuzzi. It is built for families. A Mini Club takes children from four to eight through the day. In the evening the hotel runs animated shows, and by day guests can book tennis on two fast courts, a round of mini-golf, or water-skiing and kayaking from the beach. The Zeitouna restaurant serves Mediterranean cooking finished with local virgin olive oil, while four themed buffet restaurants rotate cuisines from around the world, and the Shark Bar keeps cocktails and music going until 1am. A thalassotherapy centre and indoor pool anchor the wellness side of the stay, alongside a sauna and hammam. Meeting rooms extend to a 258 m² hall holding 350 people, plus two smaller rooms for up to 40 each, useful for groups combining business with a beach stay.
