Mobile Museum of Art

Located in the city’s most significant green space of Langan Park, The Mobile Art Gallery is an art museum with a collection of over 6,400 artworks comprised of painting, sculpture, decorative arts, works on paper, and crafts. Today, the art museum continues to evolve in its service to the community, achieved through its programs, education, exhibitions and outreach. The museum’s outreach activities include on-site classes, a partnership with the Salvation Army’s Family Haven, and a “Pop-Up Museum” installation in downtown Mobile. The Art Museum maintains a schedule of rotating, special exhibitions and collection exhibitions, including work by regional artists and exhibitions featuring work by nationally and internationally recognized artists.
