Montreux-Oberland-Bernois Cheese Train

Located in Switzerland, Montreux-Oberland-Bernois offers an exceptional excursion on the Cheese Train. The journey begins with a beautiful train ride from Montreux to Château d’Oex. Shortly after departure from Montreux, travellers can enjoy Swiss cheeses and a glass of regional wine while the train rides along the shores of Lake Geneva. After a ride through the valley, travellers will reach the alpine village of Château d’Oex. Here, travellers will visit the Le Chalet restaurant to watch a cheese-making demonstration, followed by the pleasure of eating the traditional cheese fondue. After the restaurant visit, travellers can browse through the Museum, Vieux Pays-d’Enhaubet, before heading back to Montreux.
