Horseback Riding
Riding here means covering ground silently, at a pace no vehicle allows, through open Kalahari scrub and grassland. The activity suits intermediate and advanced riders: guests must sit comfortably at trot and canter and manage a horse without assistance. A qualified guide leads each outing, with a second rider riding backup, both carrying radios and first aid supplies. Riders are limited to a maximum weight of 100 kilograms. Trail saddles are standard issue, though a small number of English saddles can be arranged beforehand. The result is a closer, quieter view of the reserve's terrain and wildlife.
