Mountain Resort Feuerberg
The Mountain Resort Feuerberg is a hotel and chalet village set on a plateau of the Gerlitzen Alpe, 1,769 metres above sea level. The main house holds guest rooms and suites in categories ranging from Bergblick to Panorama, several looking toward the Wörthersee. Below it, reached on foot in two to five minutes along a covered walkway, sit 14 timber chalets, each divided into four suites with separate bedrooms for parents and children. The largest, the Panorama Lodge suite, runs to roughly 90 m² with a private sauna, a wood-burning stove, a covered loggia of about 15 m², and a staircase to an upper floor with two bedrooms. Guests reach the hotel's restaurant, bar and spa without leaving the covered corridor. The spa itself covers 4,500 m², with 12 pools and 11 saunas, including an outdoor infinity pool and a lake-facing sauna. It is the largest of its kind in Carinthia's mountains. Skiers step from the hotel directly onto the Gerlitzen piste. In summer, 147 km of marked trails begin at the door, and guests can borrow rucksacks and poles at reception. Dogs are permitted in designated chalet categories and in the hotel bar. Check-in runs from 3pm.
