Museum of Latin American Art

Located in Long Beach, California, the Museum of Latin American Art is the only museum in the United States dedicated to modern and contemporary Latin American and Latino art. Housed in a modern structure designed by Mexican architect Manuel Rosen, the museum features four galleries, a project space and an outdoor sculpture garden. The permanent museum's collection now numbers over 1,600 works of art, consisting of paintings, sculptures, drawings, mixed-media, photography and video art. The museum expands knowledge and appreciation of modern and contemporary Latin American art through its collections, ground-breaking exhibitions, stimulating educational programs, and engaging cultural events. The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday and offers guided tours.
