Myconian Naia

White walls, sun and a long line of sea: Myconian Naia is built on a hill above Mykonos Town, and every suite is angled toward the water. There are eighteen suites in total, several with their own pool or hot tub, finished in a pared-back style that leans on stone, linen and clean lines rather than ornament. The hotel takes adults only. Rooms come with air conditioning, Nespresso machines and satellite TV, but the draw is the view over the rooftops to the Aegean, especially at sunset, when the whole hillside catches the light. A short walk brings guests down into the town itself, with its bars, boutiques and harbour, then back up again to a quieter register. Kinjo, the on-site Japanese restaurant, serves fish and seafood bought that morning alongside ingredients shipped from Japan, and looks out over the town and sea from its own terrace. The spa, Satory, works with thalassotherapy and massage, and there is a small gym for anyone keeping to a routine on holiday. Beyond the hotel, the concierge arranges yacht days to Delos and Rhenia, diving trips to two nearby wrecks, and helicopter flights over the Cyclades. It is a compact stay, but a well-placed one.
