Nanzhila Plains Safari Camp
Part of Phasec create
Nanzhila Plains sits on open plains in the southern section of Kafue National Park — Zambia's largest park — where antelope graze within view of the communal dining and lounge area. Livingstone and Victoria Falls are close enough that the camp works well as a safari extension to a Falls visit, yet the southern Kafue remains quiet and genuinely wild.
The camp is owner-managed and holds six units: two twin thatched chalets, one double thatched chalet, two twin en-suite safari tents, and one double en-suite safari tent. All have en-suite showers, mosquito nets, and pure cotton linen. A campsite with four pitches takes up to twenty-four campers. Shared facilities include a bar, a library, and battery-charging points.
Game activities cover the concession and surrounding park: morning and afternoon game drives, night drives, and guided walks on foot. The plains and waterways of the southern Kafue draw a wide range of wildlife and the birding across the area is particularly varied. Off the property, cultural tours and airport transfers can be arranged.
Laundry is complimentary, Wi-Fi is available, and the kitchen accommodates vegetarian diets.
