A first-row room of about 35 square metres, set in a traditional makuti-roofed cottage with a maximum of four rooms per unit, closest to the hotel pool and the ocean. The king-size bed sits under a mosquito net, with air-conditioning for the tropical heat. The bathroom has a walk-in rainshower and hairdryer. A large terrace holds a lamu day bed, looking over the garden, pool and a partial ocean view. Satellite TV, mini fridge, in-room safe, coffee and tea maker, and free Wi-Fi complete the room. Diani Beach lies just beyond the pool.
