Standard Chalet

One of five chalets at Nkwichi, built low-impact from local stone, bamboo and thatching grass on the Rift Valley shoreline of Lake Malawi. Inside, a four-poster bed sits under a mosquito net, with a lounge area and both inside and outside seating. The bathroom is outdoors, with rock-pool baths, an outside shower, and a detached private bathroom. A verandah looks onto the lake. Dressing gowns and complimentary laundry service are provided. There is no electricity grid intrusion here, just stone, thatch and water, eight secluded beaches away from the everyday.
