No.1 Pery Square
No. 1 Pery Square is a Georgian townhouse hotel facing People's Park in Limerick's Georgian Quarter. The building forms part of a terrace of six houses raised around 1830 by the Pery Square Tontine Company, and owner Patricia Roberts has run it since buying the property in 2006. It holds 20 individually styled bedrooms, split between period rooms, club rooms, and a townhouse suite on the top floor. That suite takes in wide views over Georgian Limerick; other rooms carry Sanderson wallpaper and monsoon showers. The spa sits in the hotel's vaulted basement, running organic treatments from Voya, including seaweed peat baths and pregnancy rituals for guests past the first trimester. Meals are served at Sash Restaurant, with tea and lounge service in the Park Room. A terrace and garden room give guests a second place to sit outside the main rooms. The hotel also fields a Georgian Drawing Room for meetings and calls, positioned close to Limerick's commercial district and transport links. It is a compact stay, closer in feel to a private house than a hotel block. The Frank McCourt Museum and Limerick City Gallery are both a short walk away, along with the park itself, tree-lined and set right against the hotel's front rooms. No. 1 Pery Square has been awarded one MICHELIN Key.
