Nof Ginosar Hotel
Set on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, facing Mount Arbel and the hills across the water, Nof Ginosar Hotel spreads its rooms across a lawned property near the public beach. Around 170 rooms range from ground-floor garden units to rooms in a four-storey block, with a separate cluster of two-storey buildings between. A central building holds reception, the main dining room, a synagogue and function halls. The pool sits just behind it, currently under renovation. Across the road, a second cluster of low garden bungalows makes up the property's villa wing, a short walk from the same public beach. Six suites here run to 30 m², each with its own terrace and seating looking onto greenery. Rooms come with cable TV, a safe, a hairdryer, a mini-fridge and a tea and coffee set. A pier runs out into the water, ending in benches set for sunrise. The lobby bar serves light dairy meals and drinks against the view of the lake. Guests can walk to a nearby grocery store or the Ancient Boat Museum, close by. There is no spa, but the beach and pier fill that role for most who stay. A gym and children's playground sit in the grove between pool and shore. It is a working, family-run resort rather than a design hotel, but the setting does the work.
