Novotel Muscat Airport Hotel

Novotel Muscat Airport is set on Al Maardih Street in Seeb, a short drive from the terminals and from Oman's convention and exhibition venue. The hotel is built for transit and business: 14 room categories run from a Superior King at 31 m² up to a Deluxe Suite at 61 m², each with city or mountain views. Rooms are plain and functional, with tea and coffee makers, satellite TV and Wi-Fi as standard. Two restaurants anchor the ground floor. Ginger serves an international buffet with an a la carte menu alongside it, open through the day. Theatrum runs an open kitchen with a sushi counter, a pizza oven and tandoor stations, and doubles as one of the livelier dining rooms in the area. Outside, a pool and sundeck sit apart from the gym and steam rooms of the In Balance club. For events, the Diwan Ballroom and six meeting rooms take up to 350 guests, backed by a 380 m² function space and current AV kit. Check-in runs from 2pm and check-out to noon. The location favours function over scenery, aimed at travellers passing through Muscat on business or between flights rather than staying for the view.
