Nymindegab Kro

Nymindegab Kro is an inn at the edge of Norre Nebel, set between the North Sea and a fjord on Denmark's west coast. It has traded since 1862, and the main building still carries that history in its restaurant, wine cellar and fireplace room. Forty-three rooms make up the property, most looking over the fjord, others over the rooftops of Nymindegab and its old mill. Each has its own bathroom and free WiFi, and the kitchen sends up breakfast made from scratch.
The restaurant runs a lunch and dinner service, working with local fishermen and farmers for what lands on the plate. A bar stays open through the afternoon and evening, and a wine cellar holds more than 600 bottles, open for tastings by arrangement. Meeting rooms range from a fireplace lounge suited to a small board to a hall that opens onto a terrace and the main restaurant, which converts for larger gatherings. You can walk to the beach and dunes in minutes, and the Blåbjerg forest offers long trails for running or hiking. A local guide leads walks to the wartime bunkers hidden in the dunes nearby, a short walk from the front door. Check-in runs from 2pm, checkout by 11am.
