Star Bed Suite

Three of the standard luxury suites at Old Drift Lodge include a star bed, set on a raised platform beside the room, over the river. The four-poster frame sits at a higher vantage point than the suite itself, giving open views across the water. Guests can sleep out under the sky and wake to sunrise over the Zambezi, or retreat to the suite, which keeps its own plunge pool, outdoor shower, verandah, minibar and outdoor bathtub within easy reach. It suits a cool, still night more than a wet one.
