Canvas walls, not brick, separate the beds here from the bush outside. At night the tents close with heavy canvas panels; by day, in the Deluxe and Premium categories, the sides can be opened fully so guests shower with a view of dik-dik and bushbuck moving through the undergrowth. Birdsong carries into the tents unfiltered, and after dark hyenas and lions can be heard from the beds. Fourteen tents make up the camp: four Comfort, five Deluxe, and five Premium, ranging from 35 to 60 square metres, each with its own veranda facing the greenery. Premium tents add a double wash-basin and a choice of indoor or open-air rain shower. A bar and lounge anchor the social side of things, with meals drawing on Kenyan and Indian flavours alongside continental dishes. Housekeeping runs daily, and hot water bottles are placed in the tents each night.
