Orchid Country Club

Teeing off after dark is the club's signature move: Orchid Country Club runs the only night golf course in Singapore, floodlit for play into the evening. Founded in 1993 as a project to make golf accessible to Singaporean workers, the club grew in phases through the 1990s, adding two more nine-hole layouts, a social clubhouse, and a resort hotel beside the Aranda course. Three courses now share the grounds: Aranda, Vanda, and Dendro, each nine holes and threaded around Seletar Reservoir. Buggies are compulsory and paths keep carts off the greens. The resort hotel holds 75 rooms, most with private balconies looking over the fairways and water. A Deluxe Suite runs to 134.4 m², with a king, a queen, and a single bed under one roof. Beyond golf, the grounds carry three outdoor pools, four restaurants, two bars, and a bowling alley, drawing families as much as golfers. Facilities extend to fitness classes, wine promotions, and seasonal events like the club's ladies' invitational tournament. It is a working club as much as a stay, owned by NTUC and built around member life rather than transient tourism. Parking runs free, with roughly 600 lots across the clubhouses, and a shuttle links the site to Yishun MRT for those arriving without a car.
