Palanga Life Balance SPA

Grown from three separate buildings rather than one, Palanga Life Balance SPA Hotel groups its rooms under three names: Luxury, Design and the newer Vandenis Suites, which added ten rooms built for privacy. The Design building tilts its floors at a five-degree angle, a deliberate architectural quirk that changes how each room feels underfoot. Beneath the property runs mineral water drawn from underground reserves, piped into the pools and bath complex that anchor the spa centre. It is not a small operation. Guests can move between saunas, mineral-water pools, a gym and treatment rooms, or eat downstairs at Restaurant Palanga, run by Italian chef Giorgio Pignagnoli and recommended in the Michelin Guide for 2026. His menu sets Italian and French technique against Lithuanian ingredients, with a separate breakfast service each morning. Vandenis Suites, the newest addition, uses pale tones and oak against quieter, simpler lines than the older buildings. The hotel stands on Birutės Avenue, close enough to the Baltic Sea that the water is audible from an open window, and near a botanical park reached on foot in a couple of minutes. Palanga itself has drawn visitors for its climate and mineral springs since the 19th century. Children under 14 are permitted in the pool and bath complex only during set daytime hours.
