Pan Pacific Yangon

Climb 25 storeys above downtown Yangon and Shwedagon Pagoda fills the window. The tower rises inside Junction City, a mixed-use block in Pabedan Township at the corner of Bogyoke Aung San Road, close to the city's old colonial quarter. Yangon International Airport lies around 30 minutes away by car, traffic depending. Check-in runs from 2pm. It is a base built for movement through the city below: markets, temples, the river, and back again to a room with the pagoda still in view.
