Paradis Beachcomber sits at the tip of Le Morne Peninsula on the southwest coast of Mauritius, where a sheltered lagoon runs along one side and the basalt bulk of Le Morne Brabant rises behind the property. The resort holds two hundred and ninety-three rooms, suites, and villas — the villas come with private pools and gardens — spread across a beachfront plot where the water stays shallow and calm inside the reef.

The eighteen-hole championship golf course is the organising feature for many stays here: the layout runs across the peninsula with the lagoon and mountain as a backdrop. Beyond golf, the property offers a full water-sports programme — the lagoon suits kayaking, windsurfing, and snorkelling — along with fishing, hiking, and a spa. Four restaurants cover the range from casual beach dining to more formal evening meals. A nightclub operates on site.

Beachcomber, the group that operates Paradis, runs a coral restoration project involving staff from this property and from Trou aux Biches Beachcomber. The group also composts green waste on site at Paradis, supplies surplus food to nearby communities through a partnership with the NGO Foodwise, and holds EarthCheck Benchmarked Gold status across its portfolio as of 2024.

The nearest landmark is Bénitiers Island, a five-hundred-hectare wooded islet five hundred metres offshore, reachable by boat.
