The Glacier 3000 in Ormont-DessusSwitzerland is home to the world's first suspension bridge to connect two mountain peaks - Peak Walk By Tissot. Adjoining the peaks of Scex Rouge and Glacier de la Wayaz, this incredible feat of engineering spans a whopping 110 meters across a steep valley at an altitude of over 3000 meters above sea level. The bridge's unique design and features allow visitors to traverse between the two peaks in absolute safety, with breathtaking views of Glacier 3000 and its surrounding mountains. The bridge also has tension-resistant cables angled at 30 degrees, providing additional support and stability while crossing the peak. The bridge offers a stunning view of the Alps: Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau are visible from the bridge and provide superb views far off into the distance. The suspension bridge is free of charge and open year-round, subject to weather conditions.
