Peninsula Petit Hotel

Arriving at Península Petit means turning off toward the San Pedro Peninsula, five kilometres from Llao Llao and 20 from Bariloche's Civic Centre, with Lake Nahuel Huapi opening up alongside the drive. The hotel is small by design, run since 2009 by its founding couple, and built around rooms that face the water rather than the road. Sweet Superior rooms run about 22 m², each with a king bed, a 32-inch LCD television, a minibar and an electric kettle. Sweet Standard rooms measure around 18 m², with a queen bed convertible to two singles and a view that takes in both the lake and native forest. All rooms have Wi-Fi, a safe, and a bathroom with tub and hairdryer. Breakfast is buffet-style and made in house, served each morning to guests and, by reservation, to outside visitors too. The restaurant, Eatery, opens Monday to Saturday for dinner, pairing home-cooked plates with wine or craft beer; a guest bar stays open for something quieter after. There is a private beach area steps from the building. You can watch trout rise at dawn from the shoreline, or trace the sunset behind Cerro López from the lounge. Front desk runs 24 hours, and parking is included on site.
