Penzión Cosmopolitan I

Penzión Na Kopci is set on a hill above Banská Štiavnica, a short drive from the historic centre. It is a quiet base, with the town's rooftops laid out below. The property holds nine rooms across two floors, sleeping up to 22 guests in total, plus a family room for four with a cot. Two of the doubles are named Fifty Shades of Grey; others are called Elegance and Standard rooms. Each room opens onto its own garden terrace, fitted with a table and chairs for morning coffee or a glass of wine at night. Rooms come with a television, fridge, Wi-Fi, a kettle with coffee and tea, and a private bathroom. Breakfast is included and served each morning, and the on-site restaurant runs an à la carte menu alongside a wine list of some 30 varieties served by the glass. Parking is free, with room for 40 cars and coach access. Cyclists get secure bike storage, useful given the surrounding hills and trails. You can watch the old mining town spread out from the terrace at dusk. The pension also takes on weddings, christenings and other private events. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or the rooms.
