Pineapple Beach Club Antigua
Long Bay, on Antigua's northeast coast, holds a beach that bends into a quarter-mile curve of fine white sand. Pineapple Beach Club sits on 30 acres behind it, its gardens and low-rise buildings arranged so most rooms face either water or greenery. The property runs five room categories: Pool Terrace, Gardenview, Oceanview, Beachfront and Waterfront, plus a single Chairman's Suite set above the rest with three balconies and views over the pool, beach and sea beyond. Waterfront and Beachfront rooms open onto the sand directly; Premium Oceanview rooms climb a low hillside instead, with king beds and mahogany or rattan furniture. Two freshwater pools sit within the grounds, one framed by a courtyard near the Tickled Turtle bar. Watersports here are non-motorised and included, so a morning might mean a kayak or a sail rather than a booking. You can hear the surf from most beachfront patios after dark. Dining runs across several venues, from an open-air grill to an air-conditioned Italian room and a steakhouse open two nights a week, with a beachfront bar built for slow afternoons. Devil's Bridge and Shirley Heights lie a short drive off. Check-in runs from 3pm, check-out at 11am.
