Playa Cayo Santa Maria
An all-inclusive resort set on Cayo Santa Maria's north-coast sand
Skip to product information
Cayo Santa Maria sits among Cuba's northern cays, off the coast of Villa Clara, and the resort takes its name straight from the beach it occupies. The sand runs wide and pale along the shoreline, backed by a private beach area and open grounds that separate the rooms from the water. Guests move between the two by electric trolley, a small but telling detail on an island where distances between pool, restaurant, and room can stretch further than they look. Rooms range from standard, with garden or pool views, up to suites with sea views and a separate beach suite category; several stand on higher floors facing the water directly. The resort runs on an all-inclusive basis, with unlimited access to its bars and restaurants, among them Cuban, Italian, and Asian kitchens. Outdoor pools sit near the beach huts, where staff offer massage and manicure treatments for an additional charge. A gym, spa, tennis court, and mini golf round out the grounds, alongside a kids' club and evening entertainment. It is a straightforward beach stay. Check-in runs from 4pm, checkout by 10am, and free parking is available on site. Wifi reaches the public areas for a small hourly fee, a reminder that this stretch of the Caribbean still runs at its own pace.
