Port St Charles Barbados

Port St Charles is a marina-led resort built into the northwest coast of Barbados, at Speightstown. The development combines a working marina with a residential community, so villas and apartments sit alongside berthed yachts rather than apart from them. It is a gated property. Two beaches frame the site, and a tidal lagoon runs through its centre, with a water taxi ferrying guests between beachfront and lagoon-front units rather than a shuttle bus or footpath. Accommodation ranges from one-bedroom lagoon apartments to larger beach-front villas of three and four bedrooms, each fitted with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Pier One, the resort's restaurant, stands on a small man-made island facing the beach, with an open-air dining room, a bar and a staircase down to the water. A pool and gym sit within the grounds, alongside tennis and pickleball courts and a salon. You can walk into Speightstown itself in minutes, past its shops and fish market stalls, without needing a car. Beaches further along the coast are within easy reach for a change of scene. Check-in and berthing arrangements run through the property's own office rather than a third party.
