Boat Trips
Zambezi River cruises past hippo pods and crossing elephants
Skip to product information
Boat trips run on six-metre aluminium river cruisers, built for shallow, sandbank-strewn water and suited to the Zambezi's currents. From the water, guests get close to hippo pods and crocodiles baskng along the banks, and watch elephant crossing between Mana Pools National Park and the Lower Zambezi National Park, a movement rarely seen from land. The cruises run at a relaxed pace, giving time to spot water birds and game coming down to drink. Evening trips double as sundowner cruises, with drinks poured mid-river as the sun drops, gin and tonic the customary choice.
