Pousada Surucuá

Bonito's centre is seven hundred metres away, close enough to walk to restaurants and shops after a day of tours. Pousada Surucuá is set back from the street behind tropical gardens, where macaws, toucans and parrots pass through regularly. A waterfall pool sits at the middle of the grounds, with sun loungers arranged around it and parking free for guests who arrive by car. It is a compact base, built for movement in and out rather than long stretches indoors. Every room has air conditioning, a smart TV, minibar and safe, and most open onto a ground-floor terrace facing the garden, pool or inner courtyard. Breakfast runs daily with fresh fruit, cakes, bread and juice, and guests return each afternoon to a complimentary tea service laid out after the day's excursions. Massage treatment can be booked separately, subject to staff availability. Check-in starts at 2pm and check-out is by noon.
