PURESLeben
Set on a rise above the Tunauberg vineyards, Premiumhaus Lieschnegg looks south-east over the rolling wine country of southern Styria. The house is one of PURESLeben's premium category, built with brick, glass, oak and larch, and organised around a top-floor wellness gallery. There, a small indoor garden of local stones and moss anchors an open lounge with two loungers and a sound system built for close listening. Downstairs, the living room runs into an open kitchen and fireplace, with a glass cube marking the bedroom wing and its own bathroom. It is a compact, self-contained house. Outside, a partly glazed panorama sauna sits beside a 7 by 3 metre pool, and the larch terrace holds sun for most of the day. A hammock hangs between the fruit trees. You can watch the pool's edge blur into the Alm landscape beyond, an effect the house was clearly designed around. Materials stay warm throughout: earth tones, clear lines, timber against stone. The property sits within PURESLeben's wider group of design holiday houses scattered across the hills of Oberhaag, each with its own architecture but a shared vocabulary of wood, glass and quiet. Meals, massages and bike hire can be arranged from the group's home base nearby. Parking is on site.
