Quba Palace Hotel

Quba Palace Hotel is built directly above the National Azerbaijan Golf Club, the only hotel in the country set on a golf course. It stands in the village of Eski-Iqriq, seven kilometres from Quba town, among mountains and forest. The main building holds 550 bedrooms across several categories, 212 of them facing the lake and mountains, plus 26 villas including the three-floor Midiya Villa at 445 m² and the Atropatena Villa at 500 m². The Urmiya Villa sits on the lake shore itself. Junior Suites run to 52 m², the Family Suites to 78 m², and the Honeymoon Suite to 77 m². A heliport lets guests arrive by private helicopter, cutting out the 201 km drive from Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The Sakura Spa Center runs Turkish and Finnish baths alongside Thai, Balinese and Indian massage, with a jacuzzi and a full menu of facial and body treatments. Dining spans four venues: the Lobby Lounge, Mosaic Restaurant, The Challette Steak House and the Lake Restaurant, where guests can have fish they have caught themselves at the hotel's private fishing area cooked to order. An 18-hole course, a 1670 m² assembly hall and a dedicated conference centre round out the grounds. It is as much a base for meetings as for golf.
