RACV Cobram Resort
Fringed by orchard blocks whose blossom scents the air in season, RACV Cobram Resort spreads across 10 hectares of lawn and garden beside the Murray River in northern Victoria. The setting is flat, green, and unhurried. Self-contained cabins and apartments open onto lake or garden views, and a 4.5-star caravan park offers 58 powered sites on concrete slabs, eight with private ensuites. The newest cabins are open-plan, called Deluxe Park Cabins, with two bedrooms and space for six. An indoor pool and spa run year-round under cover, while the outdoor pool takes a lagoon shape with a waterfall for children. You can hear birdsong from the walking trails that loop the grounds, past a jumping pillow, BMX track, and tennis courts. Fishing is close at hand, with the Murray among Victoria's better-known spots for landing your own dinner. The Poolside Café covers breakfast through afternoon tea, and self-contained kitchens mean guests can just as easily cook what they catch. Cactus Country and the surrounding wine and history trails sit within easy driving distance. Sustainable Tourism Certification covers energy, water, and waste practices across the property, including solar panels and on-site irrigation drawn from the resort's own lake. Check-in and rates vary by season and accommodation type.
