Set above a marina on Little Lake, granite kitchenette counters and glass-enclosed rainforest showers turn up in suite after suite here, alongside electric fireplaces and balconies angled toward the water. Rooms range from standard king suites to two-storey waterside lofts with ground-floor walkout decks and a second balcony off the master bedroom. The Trent Executive adds a corner Jacuzzi and a balcony that runs the width of both bedroom and living room. It is a working marina property, not a resort playing at one. Guests can hear boats idling into dock from the Waterside Patio at Lighthouse45, where the kitchen works local ingredients into a seasonal menu. The Spa sits above the water too, its outdoor hot tub and sauna facing the lake, with treatments built around organic, locally sourced products. A golf simulator lounge and a small gym round out the indoor amenities, while an EV charging station serves the car park. The building began as Christie's Lumber Mill in the 19th century before becoming a three-storey fishing lodge in 1922, built by Edgar Otto Rawson and his family; it was restored in 2005. Port Severn sits about an hour and a half north of Toronto, on the Trent-Severn Waterway. Boaters can reach the resort by water and reach staff directly over VHF channel 68.
