Rixos Premium Dubrovnik
Arriving from the Old Town takes only minutes, and the shift in register is immediate: glass, terraces stacked toward the Adriatic, a lobby bar with a fireplace and a pianist most evenings. Rixos Premium Dubrovnik sits on Liechtensteinov put, a short walk from Dubrovnik's walled centre, with rooms and suites ranged across park and sea-facing wings. Suites run up to 180 square metres. Ocean-view rooms look straight down the coast; park-facing ones trade the view for quiet.

Four restaurants anchor the day. Turquoise serves Mediterranean and Croatian plates with a dry-aged meat counter; Umi Teppanyaki is the city's only teppanyaki room, its chefs working the grill in front of guests; Mykorini turns Greek after dark, with live Sirtaki and an open-air terrace; Libertas Fish Restaurant keeps a seaside table for simpler, local catches. Anjana Spa spans two floors, with a Turkish hammam, saunas, an igloo room and a tea lounge stocked with over a hundred varieties. A private beach gives direct sea access, and a fitness centre faces the water for anyone who prefers to work out with a view of it.

A ninth-floor events space, including a ballroom for up to 900, handles weddings and conferences. Families get a dedicated kids' pool and playroom. Check-in runs from 3pm.
