Robinson Club Daidalos
The Aegean sits sixty metres below the clifftop terraces here, its blue broken by the shapes of nearby islands, Nissyros among them. A sloped lift and a stone stairway drop from the grounds straight to a long, fine sand beach, where sunbeds and umbrellas cost nothing extra. You can hear the water sport station before you see it, boards and rigging stacked along the shore from ten in the morning. The club runs to 319 rooms across two floors, opened in 1991 and still adding new wings; a 2016 block holds the deluxe doubles, while junior suites and front suites keep sea views as standard. Suite Superior rooms run to 116 m² across three rooms, some with a whirlpool on a private roof terrace. Sport is heavy here: nine quartz-sand tennis courts, two padel courts, catamarans and windsurf boards for hire, and instruction in wing foiling and e-foiling for anyone willing to try. The spa covers 210 m², with a sauna, a biosauna, indoor and outdoor rest pools, and a fitness studio facing the water through a wide window. Three restaurants and three bars run full board, with wine and beer included at lunch and dinner. Check-in is from 3pm.
