Roc Blanc Hotel & Spa is a four-star address on Plaça Coprínceps, in the middle of Escaldes-Engordany. The Shopping Mile runs past its door, and Caldea's thermal complex is a five-minute walk away. Rooms and suites mix parquet and carpet, mosaic tile and brick accents, in styles that range from a plain Standard to a 51 m² Suite with a jacuzzi and street views. Ceilings sit low in the attic rooms, which take on a Quadruple or Triple layout for groups travelling together. Balconies on the Superior and Junior Suite categories look over the plaza or toward Caldea, and most rooms carry air conditioning, a minibar, and a safe as standard. Downstairs, the spa runs on mineral-medicinal water piped from the same thermal source that put Escaldes-Engordany on the map, with treatments built around individual assessment rather than a fixed menu. It is not a resort. The restaurant, L'Entrecôte, serves steak and Pyrenean produce facing onto the square, and a terrace out front doubles as the spot for coffee between shops. Breakfast runs each morning as a buffet. You can hear the square's foot traffic from the front rooms by day and the quiet returns by evening. Parking is available on site for a supplement, and pets are welcome in selected rooms.
