Rosewood Guesthouse Margaret River

Rosewood is a guesthouse of four en-suite rooms set behind a garden entrance in Margaret River, Western Australia. The property has run its wine tours since 1956 in Rosie, a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud that seats four adults and now doubles as a wedding car. Each room takes its name from a local landmark: the Wallcliffe Suite, the Ellensbrook, the Redgate, the Georgette. The Wallcliffe is a studio-style suite with a king bed, kitchenette, and a bath built for two. The Ellensbrook sits on the lower ground floor, its picture window facing a bird bath where local birds gather each morning. Check-in is self-service from 3pm, keys waiting in a lock box by the guest entrance in the back garden. All linen is laundered offsite. Rooms come with reverse-cycle air conditioning, a small fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a safe. It is a compact stay. The main street restaurants and shops lie a ten-minute walk away, wineries and beaches a short drive beyond that. Rosewood does not take guests under twelve. For a day out, Rosie the Rolls Royce runs private tours through the surrounding wine region, calling at cellar doors chosen with guests along the way.
