Roze Boutique Hotel
Eight rooms in a wooden Art Nouveau villa near the beach
Wooden stairs, painted wall ornaments and stained-glass windows survive from the building's construction in the early 20th century. Boutique Hotel Roze is the only hotel set inside Liepāja's seaside park, three minutes on foot from the beach. Eight rooms occupy the property, several with balconies looking onto the park or the garden below. Each was designed individually, furnished in natural wood and dressed in heavier textiles that suit the house's age; the architect kept the original character while wiring in air conditioning, a minibar and a coffee machine. Rooms run from 26 m² doubles to a family room and a one-bedroom apartment. Breakfast is a buffet of hot and cold dishes, coffee and croissants baked that morning. In summer it moves outdoors, served in the hotel garden or at the adjoining summer restaurant. You can rent a bicycle at reception and reach the city centre on foot in around twenty minutes, passing tennis courts and the open-air concert venue Pūt, vējiņi! along the way. Private parking is free, check-in runs around the clock, and Wi-Fi is included throughout. It is a compact stay, closer to a converted house than a hotel block, and the garden setting keeps the seafront within easy reach without ever feeling like the middle of things.
