Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge
Part of Phasec create
Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge sits inside the Sabie Sand Game Reserve in Mpumalanga, where the lodge faces a pan and open bushveld above the Msuthlu riverbed. The reserve shares a border with Kruger National Park and holds over two hundred mammal species and three hundred bird species, which is why the Big Five are a regular encounter on game drives rather than a lucky find.
The lodge has twenty-five suites in total: twenty-two thatched Luxury Suites and three Luxury Villas. Each suite is air-conditioned and fitted with leather and wood furnishings; the en-suite bathrooms have both a glass-fronted indoor shower and an outdoor shower opening onto a private patio. The Luxury Villas go further — a king-sized four-poster bed in the master room, a second en-suite bedroom, private pool, and a library lounge facing the pan, making them practical for families or two couples travelling together.
Rangers run two game drives daily, morning and afternoon, each around three hours with a coffee or sundowner stop in the bush. Optional walking safaris go out after breakfast. A community tour, pre-booked and charged separately, visits the surrounding area and returns the fee to local projects.
Two swimming pools and covered viewing decks overhang the riverbed, and a game-viewing hide is available on site. The Amani Spa operates within the lodge. Families with children of any age are accommodated at the EleFun Centre, a dedicated children's facility run by qualified caregivers with age-grouped, conservation-themed activities — positioned within the lodge grounds to keep noise separate from adult areas.
Airport transfers are available on request.
