Sahara Desert Dubai

Sahara Desert Dubai is a desert activity site set on roughly thirty-seven million square feet of sand dunes, about twenty-five minutes by road from central Dubai. The site runs under the Dubai Heritage Vision banner and organises several distinct packages across the dunes.

The standard evening safari runs six to seven hours and combines dune bashing in a vehicle, sandboarding down the slopes, camel riding, live entertainment, and a BBQ dinner. If you want to cover more ground under your own control, two-seater and four-seater dune buggies are available for one-hour self-drive sessions. The Can-Am Monster is a shorter option — thirty minutes of self-drive on the dunes. A desert safari paired with an ATV quad bike extends the standard itinerary further into the dunes.

For an earlier start, a morning safari runs four to five hours and includes a camel ride and sandboarding without the evening dinner component.

The site is reached by road from Dubai; the twenty-five-minute transfer from the Burj Khalifa area is the standard reference point operators use for journey planning. Individual activities vary in duration from thirty minutes to a full evening, so it is worth confirming which package fits your schedule before you go.
